FORTY NINTH PARALLEL

Forty Ninth Parallel Coffee Roasters has been catering to Vancouver's coffee addiction since 2004. It now has two storefronts, making Vancouverites twice as happy (or twice as addicted). The beans are sourced from farmers that practice some form of sustainable farming, and are then roasted in the Lower Mainland. The coffee tends to be a bit sweeter than elsewhere, and packs a very strong caffeine punch, so there is no need to add sugar. Drink it black to enjoy the taste of carefully crafted coffee. 

The coffee pairs perfectly with a doughnut from Lucky's, conveniently located in the same storefront. Don't look at the doughnuts if you have had your sugar quotient for the day - with flavours like creme brûlée and cookie dough, these doughnuts are irresistible. There is a different doughnut featured each day, which can be paired with a coffee for a reduced price.
